Avoid the mainstream beach traffic by taking the trolley for one stop, or walk less than 10 minutes to less-crowded, Footbridge Beach described by Boston Magazine as “among the most immaculate stretches of coastline in New England,” with its signature plank and piling footbridge over the Ogunquit River.
