Summary: The villa was not maintained well - broken lights and light shades, shoddy fixes and a toilet that clearly wasn’t draining waste properly as it stunk. The garden was very sad and mostly dirt which showed stained concrete walls from every window. It was disappointing. Lack of mosquito control. We’re not worried about bugs but every time we sprayed in the bathroom between 60-100 mosquitos littered the bathtub and floor and then flew out and died in the pool. Pool was not adequately cleaned so it turned green after 3 days and was unswimmable. The location is fine if you want to stay in the villa the whole time, but at least a 20 min cab ride to anywhere decent and 45-1 hour to Uluwatu, 1-1.5 hours to Seminyak and surrounds. The area around the villa is gross - vacant blocks of rubbish and dirt roads. Room menu is limited and the prices were wrong to what we were initially charged, but this was rectified when we brought it up. The food was nice and the staff are friendly. Bed very comfortable, good air conditioning and clean sheets and towels.
