Positive: I had such a wonderful stay at Yumi House in Ubud. The host lady Desak is incredibly warm, kind, and helpful. She makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and prepares delicious breakfasts every morning with different options to choose from. Also, my flight was delayed and I arrived quite late at night, well after the check-in time - Desak stayed up and waited until I arrived, which was very sweet of her. The family also has a little dog named Tju Tju who is absolutely adorable. If you love dogs, you will fall in love with him right away. The rooms are clean and comfortable, surrounded by a beautiful garden that makes the place feel very peaceful. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Ubud, so you can easily walk to restaurants, shops, and many attractions. I would definitely recommend Yumi House to anyone looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay in Ubud.
Negative: One thing to keep in mind is that Ubud is quite a busy place, so it can get noisy at times. This is normal for homestays in the city center and not specific to Yumi House, but it may be helpful for light sleepers to know in advance.
