Positive: We were two couples, our 19 year old daughter and my best friend from college. The adults are all in our 60's. First, the pictures of the place really don't do it justice. It is very bright and eclectic and each room in the house has its own special character. First things first, 5 bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, full walk in shower (rain heads and hand-held combination), a stand-alone bathtub, and separate toilet. Each room has sufficient drawers and closet space. In addition, there is a half-bath downstairs. Try to find this in another French rental-impossible. Each bedroom felt like a master. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Two bedrooms downstairs and three upstairs. The kitchen is equipped with everything, including dishwasher. There are also washers and dryers for your clothes. The main main room has a very roomy den, with TV and a large dining room. There is a separate office which my daughter used to complete a college assignment. There is a bar set up with a capsule coffee maker. Outside there are two sitting areas, one covered and the other facing the backyard, with nice views of the countryside. There are also couches and a comfortable sitting area. This place is very quiet, so you slept well, but at the same time, very close to San Sebastian in Spain and Biarritz in France. I have stayed in hotels in the city areas during the festival time and the streets can be noisy up to the wee hours, followed by cars and truck noise first thing in the morning. Host is very nice, and takes the time to show you everything and made great suggestions for restaurants. The home has great WIFI and we were all able to access our work computers and connect our phones. This could not have worked out better for us. We are all picky, demanding folks, and found this home to be meet our expectations and and is thoroughly enjoyable. I couldn't image being in a hotel after this.
