Positive: Beautiful location although not as described by booking.com who stays the property is 650 yards from Dolgellau. It was over 6 miles!!! The property was warm, lots hot water and has lots of character. The log burner and the space including a good supply of wood Walks from the door Comfortable beds and pillows Washing machine and dryer
Negative: This property is 6 1/2 miles from Dolgellau definitely not walking distance to any pubs or play area as stated on Booking.coms description of the property. We booked this property, as we thought it was in the town and very disappointed it was no where near Dolgellau. We had my daughter and her 8 week old baby with us and hoped to be walking distance to local cafe and restaurants which was not the case. Whilst the property was comfortable the sofa’s were “tired” Only enough cutlery and crockery for 1 meal with only 3 pt glasses. However it didn’t spoil the character of the property.
Summary: This property is 6mls outside of Dolgellau in a rural setting you definatly need a car
