Summary: This is a very nice airport hotel, in principle. The architecture has very clean lines and the eyes come to a rest after coming in from the frenetic traffic in Chennai. There is also hardly any noise in the garden and the building which allows relaxation. However, we were a bit unlucky. The swimming pool was full of microbes and the water did not seem the get exchanged as the freshwater jets were out of order. The loungers around the pool were full of ants and I went to my room feeling I needed a shower to get rid of all the insects who had been digging into my skin. Even worse, the food in the restaurant made me feel more sick than in two pregnancies. We did not need to pay for the meal or shuttle to the airport, and I fortunately reached Europe without further problems as I could cope with diet Coke. I could sleep on and off nevertheless as a prep for the time difference.
