From the beginning, it was evident that the owners have invested not only an extraordinary amount of work into this place, but also genuine passion and care. They are gracious, attentive, and incredibly helpful hosts who make every guest feel truly welcome. We had the privilege of being among their very first guests and were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift—a small gesture that perfectly reflected their hospitality and attention to detail. The accommodation itself is truly unique. Thoughtfully transformed from a former grain silo, the building has a fascinating history and a distinctive character that sets it apart from any conventional holiday rental. The dedication and craftsmanship that went into converting it into such a comfortable and memorable retreat are apparent in every detail. As guests, it is impossible not to appreciate and respect the immense effort the owners have invested in creating this extraordinary place. The location is simply breathtaking. The property enjoys access to a private beach, allowing guests to begin their day with a morning coffee while overlooking the open ocean, often accompanied by the sight of seals resting along the shoreline. Few experiences capture the beauty and tranquillity of Iceland so perfectly. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the property offers excellent opportunities for fishing, while horseback riding is available during the season. At the same time, the location strikes an ideal balance between seclusion and convenience. Access is straightforward and comfortable, and a town with petrol stations, restaurants, and shops is only around 20 kilometres away. Above all, this is a destination with soul—a place where stunning natural surroundings, peace and quiet, and exceptional hospitality come together to create an unforgettable experience.
