Positive: We had a great time spending two nights in the STF that is right in the middle of the national park for hiking. The staff was wonderful and the lodge itself is beautiful and it has great characters. The breakfast was excellent and you can buy a lunch bag filling with breakfast items of your choice which was great given that there were limited food options in the area. We also liked the on site Bistro that offered high quality and reasonable priced food (given how expensive dinning in Sweden and Norway are). We were able to walk to the lake side from the hotel and saw northern light at night which was quite an exceptional experience.
Negative: Parking lot was very small and it was hard to find and I wish I had contacted the staff to ask about parking ahead of time. Our room was on the six floor so it was quite a hike to go up and down the stairs but it was manageable for us. It was Saturday when we checked in and the hotel was fully booked and since we got there late in the day so lower level rooms were taken.
Summary: Great location, friendly staff, and great breakfast.
