Custom details throughout - the bedroom features a handmade 12 foot writing desk that looks out over the treetops. Kitchen has new appliances, and is equipped for light cooking. The cottage extends off the main house, and is self-contained, with its own parking space. It faces the front of the property, while the main house is oriented towards the back, so there's plenty of privacy. There is a spacious lawn around the house, surrounded by woodlands. Guests have exclusive use of a yard with hammock and Adirondack chairs with a small fire pit. You can walk or bike right out the drive onto a lovely, scenic country road. Beautiful Lake Taghkanic State Park is a 12 minute drive. Great for swimming , picnics and naturewalk .I have a pair of inflatable paddle boards available for your use, with a pump that runs off a car battery. Also a pickleball set you can use on the tennis court across the street . I have a folding mattress that can accommodate a child. Pet policy : no cats. Dogs on approval with an additional fee of $50 per visit.
