Positive: Room up high with good views of city. Comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Wonderful sky bar. Glad there was secure car parking on site. Around a 15 minute interesting walk to the cathedral and the restaurants around it.
Negative: No tea or coffee available in room or anywhere in reception and as the sky bar was not open in the morning there was no way to get any beverage other than buying a breakfast. There is a bar and coffee facility next to reception but this was permanently closed it seems. Why not let guests make a coffee and relax in the very pleasant reception area? Apparently this is common in Granada, but all hotels I have stayed in offer this simple facility.. next time I will bring my own kettle and coffee and water as even a small bottle of water was an extra. As this is an upmarket hotel this cheapskate feature is a big negative.
