Positive: Coming from the UK on our first trip to India, Royal Forest genuinely everything we could have asked for. The location is truly stunning, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food just didn't stop coming out. As a homestay, the families made us welcome, and the other guests were so pleasant.
Negative: The only thing to be aware of it's quite remote, we knew this and it was great but it'll take a little while to get here from Madikeri. The room is fantastic only, but again this works just fine as it's so far up in the hills.
Summary: If you're looking for a welcoming place with great food looks no further.
