Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: We wanted a cottage with three separate bedrooms, located near Douglas with a safe space to keep three bicycles and in all respects the accommodation was spot on. The owner provided very clear directions to reach the cottage from the airport which were a great help. And the food provided for our first morning’s cooked breakfast was excellent too!
Negative: Nothing really but potential users should be aware that some of the door lintels are quite low although, to be fair, it is a cottage and the owner had highlighted these with clear signage. And the bathroom is accessed directly from each of two main bedrooms so a bit tricky for anyone using the sofa bed downstairs.
Summary: A traditional IoM cottage, perfect for two couples. A good local pub and SPAR are a handy bonus.
