Positive: Out chalet was basic but clean and nice and quiet (mostly!). Great to have a private outdoor area to sit in. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool was lovely - very clean, quiet and relaxing. 5 mins walk from the beach (not the best beach but fine... and great sunsets), and 5 min drive to the supermarket and train station. Great bar/cafe just next door (Caffe Solaire).
Negative: There was no WiFi in the chalet, and none anywhere other than the pool and reception. As they were closed from 1pm to 4pm each day that was quite inconvenient! One central A/C unit so we had to sleep with the bedroom doors open... so no privacy. A few more things in the kitchen would have been good - bigger glasses and wine glasses for instance. Quiet a lot of noise (music, DJ etc) from adjacent hotel in the evening but they stopped by 11pm so no real issue. May impact those nearer it than we were, or those who want to go to bed earlier!
