The "lamia" (typical dwelling) is located in the renowned Valle d'Itria, at 350 m asl, in the north of Salento, in Puglia. The Valley is well known all over the world for the presence of the trulli, recognized as UNESCO heritage. The house is located in a dominating position, immersed in the beautiful and relaxing countryside full of olive trees, fruit trees and prickly pears. We are in Cisternino, just minutes from Alberobello, Martina Franca, Ostuni, Locorotondo, Lecce, places rich in historical monuments, with breathtaking views. Nearby are also the Zoosafari di Fasano and the Castellana Caves. At 15 minutes there are the endless beaches of the Adriatic Sea, among which the natural reserve of Torre Guaceto stands out for its particular beauty. In 50 minutes you reach the Ionian Sea, with crystal clear water and Caribbean beaches. The food and wine aspect is one of the best known features of the area and you can enjoy the many delights of land and sea in very nice restaurants. Summary: We loved our stay at this house. The house and the views were outstanding. This was a particularly lucky since we had a few days of rainy weather and spent more time than we might have at the house. It is even more beautiful than the photos. There were many seating areas for relaxing and dining and all of the furniture was comfortable. The location was perfect for touring the area. A very enthusiastic thumbs up recommendaiton!!!
