Positive: Ranis Grand was perfect for what we needed - a place to stay near the station for a very short night. We arrived off a late flight and had a 5am train to catch, and it was very convenient to just be able to walk over the road to the station. Rooms were pretty basic but fine - we just needed a bed and a bathroom. The aircon worked well. We didn't have breakfast, on account of leaving so early, but I understand breakfast is available from 3am, so they must cater for a lot of early train connections.
Negative: It would have been nice to have more than one bath towel for the two of us.
Summary: Convenient and adequate.
