Summary: This is a great little rental with a truly beautiful backyard. A short walk to shops and restaurants, and also close to downtown, SPU, and the Fremont neighborhood. One thing that is not entirely clear in the listing is that this is a daylight basement apartment in the rear of the house. Everything you see in the street-view picture is not part of the rental. That said, it really is a nice place with a well-lit kitchen and living area, and a covered patio. Being in the rear of the house makes this a quiet and private unit. While we were there, no one used the upstairs portion of the house. Two other things to note: even though the house has a driveway, parking as a guest is on the street; but it is a quiet street and parking right out front was never a problem. Also, there is no access to a washer or dryer for clothes. All in all, a great rental, great location, nice kitchen, and that amazingly terraced and landscaped backyard.
