Proctor’s Cottage is a delightful four-bedroom home, designed specifically for families and friends gathering to sample the delights of the breathtaking Aberdeenshire countryside, mountains, lochs, rivers, castles and golf courses.
Nestled in the heart of castle country and a mere stone’s throw from Royal Deeside, the cottage is privately protected by electric gates and accessed by it’s 120 metre-long driveway.

The Space:
The area is rich in outdoor activities, and the region boasts more castles per acre than anywhere else in the UK, so make sure to take time soaking up the historic past in the surrounding areas. The beautiful scenery begs to be explored and the surrounding area is rich in outdoor activities, with several wildlife reserves nearby, forest walks, hill walking around Lochnagar, as well as ancient monuments and not forgetting the famous “Whisky Trail” to follow. The beach is only 12 miles away and there is a shop, pub and restaurant within 1 mile of the property.

Ideal for families, friends, and golf enthusiasts alike. Proctors has its own putting green and golf nets where you can practice your swing to your heart’s content.
Although golfers are amply catered for with over 20 courses within a 20-mile radius, including Trump International Links, Royal Aberdeen and the local Westhill Golf Club, there are many other activities available for the whole group. There are some fantastic walks to explore locally and a multitude of eateries and bars, as well as a theatre and shopping. Westhill town is only a short 5 minute drive away.

This immaculately presented conversion, transformed from a 130 year old barn, is the perfect choice for relaxing holidays in rural Aberdeenshire. The thick granite walls, slated roof and biomass underfloor heating throughout creates a spacious but cosy base for your safari around some of the best scenery in the North East of Scotland.

The south side of the house features a large open plan living space comprising of a modern kitchen with all the facilities needed to cook up a feast. The living area has ample seating for everyone to enjoy a cosy night in with family or friends. There are two dining areas for you to choose from, ideal if you’re wanting to have a kids table and adult table!

From the dining area you walk out to beautifully kept gardens which wrap around the cottage. The stone flagged large patio has a table and seating for eight so you can enjoy an evening bottle (or crate) of wine “Alfresco” and a BBQ.
If you pick the right spot in the garden and nature is on your side you may even get a glimpse of the northern lights.

Proctors cottage is a single storey dwelling with ramp access so suitable for those that require step free access.
