Positive: Oani Hotel is one of the best dormitories I’ve stayed in. The place is brand new, with high-end furnishings and solid amenities. The common space and pantry are great for working and relaxing, and I appreciated the massage chairs, coffee machine, sparkling water dispenser, drinks, and the laundry room.
Negative: During my seven-day stay, they shut the common space down from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for three days. That’s a core amenity, and I couldn’t access it for a large part of my stay, so I ended up working from cafes instead. If it needs cleaning or renovation, that’s fine, but closing it for full days during peak hours is unreasonable. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I probably won’t stay there again.
Summary: Great dorm, but the common area closures ruined it
