Positive: Loved that the campsite is family friendly and that there are options for camping -tent, trailer, cabin or your own trailers. Also love the community kitchen area and the many private shower and washrooms. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We heard all about the ice cream at the Ark but regrettably didnt end up grabbing ourselves any, we'll have to go back!!
Negative: I understand the campground is being improved upon and under renovations so nothing noted really affected our stay... The picnic table outside our cabin was a bit rickety, but still completely usable. The lights for the toilets and showers outside our cabin wouldn't turn on(we used our flashlights)- again no big deal. And although we had options for wifi and cell service, it was finicky until we walked towards the main building. The big thing I can think that could be improved is the exit into the campground from the highway. Bigger signage, or a turning lane would be great. We almost missed the turn and with large trucks all around in both directions its harder to slow down on the highway to get in to the driveway. Luckily we saw the groundskeeper to make sure we were on the right road.
