Positive: The ambience of the hotel was wonderful. Very laid back and it was very quiet, despite it being full. Evening meals was were good and the restaurant staff were very friendly. Breakfast was typically French, perhaps a little sparse, with no cooked food. Th e whole are was very spacious with the wonderful view of the river and weir, but also very quiet. Our room was very spacious with a good bathroom and toilet. They had done a good job, converting the old water mill, with the wheel still turning.
Negative: Nothing. We were blessed with good weather. Had it been raining or very cold, we would have had to dress up to walk the 75 metres to the restaurant. Slight;y out of the way, the sat. nav. needed to work hard!
Summary: A very peaceful stay in lovely Norman countryside.
