Positive: Peaceful location with great views. Excellent homely food - costs on par with hotels. Mehtaji takes due care to make you feel at home. He keeps a friendly dog, and an orchard of apple & dry fruit trees. Spring water which he gets through pipes is great. 2 spacious rooms, neat & clean, made our family stay (4 nos) very comfortable.
Negative: It's 1 hr drive from mall road - not really an issue if you have vehicle. The ambience of the homestay - away from the hustle & bustle of the town - is what I liked best.
