Positive: Location: The building is right next to Victoria Station, which was perfect for us — an excellent connection to Gatwick by train, easy access to the rest of London by underground, and even a pleasant walking distance to the city center. Truly great. Building appearance: Clean and well-maintained (exterior, lobby, elevators, and hallways). Neighborhood: Both modern and classic at the same time — we liked the atmosphere. Apartment size: Three bedrooms (one with an en-suite bathroom) and a spacious living room — very convenient for a family stay.
Negative: Key collection: A stressful experience — the person at the kiosk could not release the keys because the PIN code was incorrect. We had to contact you and wait for a new code, standing outside on the street at night, which was far from a warm or welcoming start. Cleanliness: The apartment was not clean — the floor was dusty, the glass door to the balcony had visible fingerprints, toilets were not properly cleaned, the bathroom ceiling is peeling, the toilet flush button is broken, and much of the furniture is scratched and worn (which was surprising, since the same issues appear in older reviews on Booking.com). Bedding: Bed linen was not ironed. Kitchenware: Some cutlery and dishes were not clean. TV/Internet: Netflix and other channels were not working (despite your message confirming that they should). YouTube did not work either. Sliding door: The balcony door in the living room cannot be closed properly. Bathroom tap: It is very difficult to adjust the water temperature in the bathtub — it was often unbearably hot. Pillows and mattress: Pillows in the two smaller bedrooms should be replaced, and the main bedroom needs a new mattress.
Summary: Great potential, poorly maintained.
