Positive: Our stay with Stéphanie and Franck was the perfect way to end our holiday in France. From the moment we arrived after a very long journey, they made us feel incredibly welcome. They immediately offered us refreshments and, later in the evening, even brought us beers and wine while we sat outside chatting together as a family. Their kindness and generosity made what could have been just an overnight stop into a truly memorable experience. Although we spoke very little French and they spoke very little English, it never mattered. We still managed to chat, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company. Their warmth and hospitality transcended any language barrier. The accommodation itself was absolutely superb. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and set in a wonderfully peaceful rural location around 90 minutes south of Calais. It was the perfect place to relax. The facilities, including the gym and hot tub, were excellent. Although we didn’t have time to use them, it was wonderful to have them available. Breakfast the following morning was a delicious continental spread with fresh, high quality produce, providing the perfect start to our journey home. Stéphanie and Franck are exceptional hosts who genuinely care about their guests. They made us feel more like friends than customers, and their hospitality was the highlight of our final evening in France. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. In fact, even if we weren’t passing this way, we’d happily make a detour just to stay here and spend another evening with Stéphanie and Franck. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.
