Positive: Where to begin with my review of La Villa du Soleil! The villa and amenities are exceptional, everything has been considered by the hosts to make this feel like it’s a home away from home. When we arrived we were met with a delicious homemade cake (which was still warm 😍) fig jam and olive oil by the wonderful hosts which was such a lovely gesture and really made us feel welcome. The villa has been decorated beautifully, the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless, the kitchen/ lounge area was modern and spacious and the pool area and gardens were immaculate. It’s located in a really nice area, very quiet, although as it’s only about 15 minutes from the airport you do get planes flying over every now and again. Mainly in the morning though and quite good fun if you get the plane tracker app! There are two restaurants located within a few minutes walk and a large supermarket. There is a gorgeous marina within a five minute walk which is home to lots of super yachts. At the marina is also a beach bar, restaurant and public beach too, if you fancy a change of scenery. The village of Sukosan is about a 20 minutes walk away, but the walk there along the pebble beach is lovely. The village itself is very picturesque and they have lots of lovely bars and restaurants there. Zadar is also about a 20 minute taxi ride away and I would highly recommend a visit if you get chance. All in all I would give this villa a massive 10 out of 10! We are all so sad to leave and will absolutely head back there again as soon as possible! Merci, Michèle ❤️
