Positive: At first I was a bit dubious about the remote location of La Costonnerie. However, after meeting our warm and welcoming host, I started to see the charm of this place. It was serene and comfortable. My partner chose it as the mid-point between all the sights we wanted to visit- Futuroscope, Puy du Fou, Chateau d’Amboise, Marais Poitevin and Azay-le-Rideau. We had the big self-contained unit downstairs. It has everything we needed (kitchenette, shower, washing machine, etc). Geneviève looked after us well, always checking to see if we needed anything. Her hospitality made my partner and I feel very much at home. I appreciate her listening to my broken French! The other host – our furry friend Mimi, was gracious and loved a good massage on the neck!
