Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Very kind and friendly host, who waited for us at the property (even after we drove wrong and were late). The house was large and spacious. We got a nice tour and had ample room to put our luggage. The location is really very close to the Certosa di Pavia that we came to visit. While it was a bit cold upon arrival, we switched up the heating and it was very comfortable.

Negative: While the host and location were great, the referral we got from the host to Amare, a fish restaurant for dinner, did not work out well. Because we were extremely tired after hours of driving, we arrived 15 mins early to see if we could eat and then go to sleep. We were rather rudely rebuked, then asked to wait (while my wife could not stand due to a disability) and then were put in a separate room, alone, without any other dinner guests that were all put in the main room. While the food was good, this treatment was very unpleasant.

Summary: Great location and very friendly hosts, but don't come early to Amare, the nearby fish restaurant
