Hillocks Ocean Pods provide a deluxe camping experience. The contemporary designed accommodation is situated in coastal bush with magnificent views of Butler’s Beach and Hillocks Point. Enjoy the peace and beauty of a remote coastal location with the ambience of camping and the luxury of modern amenities.
Explore the bush and marine environment. Fish, swim or laze on the beach. Watch the whales from your dining room window as they swim past on their way to breeding grounds. The pod contains beds for four ( a double and two singles), hot shower and eco toilet. There is a gas stove, grill, oven, BBQ and utensils to cook on the open fire. The unit is designed to leave a low environmental foot print, having a high energy efficiency rating, employing solar power, rain water and recycling of waste. 12volt provides lighting, fridge, freezer and power outlets. An inverter provides a 240 volt outlet appliances (maximum 300 watts (or 1.25 amps). There is a speaker and jack for iPhone or iPad. A fan, the coastal location and insulation provide a cool, comfortable pod in summer. Gas heating keeps you toasty warm in winter. Linen, bedding, towels and beach towels included.
Pets under control are welcome.
