Summary: Overall the house is lovely and had everything we needed. The space out the back is great. It is close to The Mount and the beach. Check in and out was easy. The only drawback from our stay was the number of rules that are revealed at new levels of detail through the booking process and when you turn up at the property. They do not help one relax easily and made us a bit more critical of the property on things we would have normally written off. You can tell they have had a bad experience but haven’t yet found the right balance to communicate their misgivings. There is a bespoke star rating which is pushed it could be seen as vaguely funny but does not hit the mark. Things I wasn’t aware of when first looking at the listing that could be useful to others are; the house is down a hill and the door is at the back of the house. The no smoking rule is both inside and outside. There are some small steps into the house and a small step into the bathroom. You can not see the road from the house.
