The Pennine Way crosses Pen-y-Ghent near the head of the dale and the hilltop road to Settle affords breathtaking views.

Summary: Beautiful scenery/area. Take basic groceries as shop is about 1hr away. Advertised pictures are out of date as not actually the same as what's in cottage. The kitchen cutlery pots pans ought to be replaced ASAP Telling clients to have left by 9am on leaving day is unacceptable but not Advertised, nor entry until 5.30pm on start day. Iv never had to strip beds & other linen when staying away, so we came home late the night b4. Overall we enjoyed our stay & lots of sunshine.
