The dramatic Great Room boasts a vaulted beamed ceiling, cozy switch-activated gas fireplace, quality Pottery Barn furnishings, large leather sectional, and gleaming hardwood floors. The open Kitchen is stocked with high-end appliances and cooking tools for the chef-enthusiast. There are 2 bedrooms, separated by private hallways, each bedroom with a high quality King bed and accompanying bathroom with walk-in tiled showers. Enjoy climate-controlled mini-split air-conditioning during hot spells or thermostatically controlled heat as needed plus the cozy warmth of the Living Room's gas fireplace. Out front - relax under the pergola adjacent the stone driveway which provides one on-site parking space. At the opposite side of the house - open tall sliding glass doors to enjoy a very private walk-out terrace - an ideal spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine. Here one can relax and unwind under the stars - enjoying views of the city and nearby canyons. This property's central location is ideal for exploring both Uptown and Downtown San Diego, Balboa Park and the amazing Zoo. Historic Old Town is 5 minutes down Washington Street hill.
