Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The cabin has a clean, cosy and airy feel. It's very quiet, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The seating under the trees outside creates a seamless opportunity to engage with the calm of nature. Cedar (the host) had set the fire for us so all we had to do on arrival was light it. The cabin is a short walk from the lovely cafes and shops of Blackheath (be ready for a few hills).

Negative: Nothing against the cabin, but one tip I'd share with future guests is to bring an eye mask if you don't like rising with the sun because one of the beautiful big windows in the bedroom doesn't have a blind/curtain.

Summary: Gorgeous, modern cabin just a short walk from Blackheath station and town centre
