Positive: It was well decorated
Negative: The add said 2 bedrooms there was only 1. I specifically picked this property for the 2 bedroom amenity. We let our daughter stay in the bedroom, for her privacy it was very cold in the bedroom when the door was shut for privacy. The 1 bed room apartment was in the basement of the house occupied by the host and her cat above. I am very allergic to cats. The day bed, & The Murphey bed were short twin size. The sleeper sofa had a thin pad like mattress you can feel the springs though. It was old and worn out. When we arrived after a 4 hour drive my wife went to use the bathroom and had to clean the feces off the toilet rim before using. Gross!! When we sent the pic the host replied that was terrible and didn't know how it got there, never mentioned it again or any follow up. She only asked about the temperature for remaining correspondences. The thermostat was upstairs apparently and it was very cold. The temp did regulate after a few hours but not in the 1 bedroom. Upon arrival the concrete stairs to the door was covered in 4in of snow and unsafe, we had to enter through the hosts front door to enter the basement apartment. The snow was eventually cleared and salted later that evening.
