Beautifully decorated space full of original art located in the foot of Shawangunk Ridge on the side of a large farm field and a forest. Get together with friends at the handmade farm dining table, feel hygge next to a wood-fired place, enjoy nature tranquility, and recharge. We provide ALL you need: clean towels, cooking essentials, complimentary high-end loose tea /coffee, friendly atmosphere, and good local advice. Apartment is a half basement part of a house but has full privacy.
A lot of small details were thought out for the guests to be comfortable, to cook meals and enjoy the place. I am very serious about the cleanliness, ready to go the extra step to make sure my guests enjoy their stay and keep improving the place all the time.
Please take a note that this is a half basement apartment is part of the big house. It is private and had separate entry but you might see/hear other people that live on the same property.

We live in a very quiet neighborhood. The place is located at the foothill of the spectacular Shawangunk Ridge. We are short 20 minute drive to the Minnewaska State Park with great hiking all year around. Gardiner, NY is 10 minutes drive. There are a lot of outdoor activities, great restaurants, wineries, farms and art galleries within a short driving distance from us.
We suggest guests have a car since we are located in a quiet rural area
Water quality:
We have our own well. Water in our area is full of minerals so sometimes it might smell like a bit of sulfur depending on mineral content. However, it is NOT harmful to your health and it is drinkable. I also do have a water treatment system that is well maintained.

Please take a note that this apartment is part of bigger house. Even though you will have your own private entrance and entire apartment will be yours, you should expect to hear other people being present in the same building.
Shared spaces:
Before entering in to apartment there will be utility room with washing machine and dryer. This utility room is shared space and other tenants can use washing machine and dryer.
Incense:
I like incenses and I use them so you will most probably feel it. Please take a note if you are allergic
Heights of the furniture note:
Some of the sofas and beds are 15" high which might create issues for elderly guests to get up and down. If you have any issues with the height of the furniture please take a note.
Basement
Its a half basement apartment and as such it has a bit of a basement feel to it. It has small windows and sometimes people notice a basement smell
