Positive: Jöhstadt is very, very quiet. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. I visited for the railway, which is very close. The owners were very helpful with restaurant recommendations, and very friendly. The building has a large, if basic, garden with some garden furniture.
Negative: The building would benefit from a simple sign, to be clear that you have arrived. It is not on the main road, but google helped. There is a good, shared, kitchen, but some clearer signage might say what is available for visitors. Jöhstadt is so quiet, that its businesses are few. It is best to shop before arrival, or you may get no breakfast! I found Jöhstadt quite cold at the beginning of July.
