Older house on a private setting in the country. *The kitchen has just been renovated with new hardwood floor , cabinets, and sink. *New windows and doors. *Two bedroom one bath. Extra beds in living room (pullout sofa and a double twin bed. ) 6 beds in all. Sleeps 8. With den and living room also. Washer and dryer. The cottage is in the county on a quiet road. But there are restaurants and gas station just a few minutes away. The cottage is about 10 to 15 minutes from Clemmons, Winston-Salem or Lexington

Summary: Location was great. Home was reasonable considering the renovations the owner is doing. However, I wasn’t too satisfied with the cleaning. Extra bedding was dirty, and the couches, floors, covers already out, under the sofas contained a lot of pet hair. I had to rewash blankets just to know that it was “clean”. So I give the overall stay 5.5
