Unique, guest casita with an "ocean window view" located on a private 4.2 acre estate. Situated at the end of a private road. Once on the property you are immersed in the sights and sounds of nature. This modern, guest house along with the Main House just above, was designed by Los Angeles architect, James Meraz. The structure is light and airy, offering breathtaking views of the jungle covered mountains to the north as well as an ocean window that looks to the Pacific. The outdoor covered balcony serves as the perfect place for morning yoga, alfresco dining, or just an all around 'chill' space. The only sounds being that of birds and insects. The casita is made up of an open concept living space that includes a brand new , fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom that features a super cool, outdoor rainshower area. There is even a new Infinity edge Plunge Pool that guests can enjoy! What are you waiting for?

Summary: Literally perched in the jungle canopy, this casita was a perfect getaway for me and a great place to use as a base to explore the Southern Pacific Coast of CR. I was drawn to the architecture in the photos and was not disappointed. The drive up is challenging and 4-wheel is a must. In the mornings, I took coffee out to the wraparound deck and identified 15 to 20 birds singing in the surrounding trees. Then there were the howler monkeys...no need for an alarm clock in the morning! Loved it here. The owner and caretaker were perfect hosts.
