Summary: First I must say the host is very nice. Her husband is very nice as well. Our stay was adequate. A couple of things I'd like to note. This is a basement apartment with 2 small windows. The host requires you to remove your shoes on the main floor. The basement floor was cold. The host does run the heat yes but the basement was still cold. You don't have access to the thermostat. It was mentioned when I arrived and she advised there are extra blankets. In the shower there's no soap or shampoo so please bring your own. Unfortunately we didn't but we bought some locally. The extra blankets did have stains on them and the pillows also, they appeared very old. As mentioned it's the basement and you hear everything upstairs, footsteps, dishes etc. I did message the host nicely to please lower the TV as it was loud and about 45 min or so she responded she was winding down and did lower it. One thing also to note is there's no lock or key on the basement door and she advised to leave the main door open to enter the home. Again the host is very nice but I had to note these details.
