Summary: The property was very spacious and comfortable. The host was gracious kind and helpful. Unfortunately the entire place was trashed when we got there. Sliding glass door was shattered. I could barely open it without small pieces of glass falling all over. The kitchen also looks like someone took a baseball bat to the cabinets and is really not stocked well for cooking. I was shown where the washing machine was located, but there is no dryer (you try and get clothes ti dry in England!) The rooftop balcony gave amazing views but everywhere you looked things were broken. Even the roof deck itself would crack when you walked across it (a little scary). But beautiful views and huge (entire roof is yours). I am a 1st time visitor to London and knew nothing about the area. Mass transit is a bit of a walk. We eventually just got the Gitt app and took cabs to get around (a little more expensive but worth it!) The apartment is in a questionable area very noisy at night but we were exhausted so it wasn’t a problem. Not many places to eat nearby if you’re not a middle eastern food person. It’s not really near any major sites. But it does have a 24 hour McDonald which is next door. Also 1 shower was broken and the other flooded the bathroom each time you showered. All in all we had a great time and the flat was usable but in need of MAJOR updates.
