Summary: From before we arrived, Walter was wonderfully communicative & answered my questions. I mentioned that I struggled finding cream tea in London prior to arriving at his flat. His wife filled the fridge with all the ingredients we would need for cream tea & sandwiches for our hungry teens! We were shocked that anyone would be so thoughtful. Indeed, everywhere you look, love has put together this flat. There was a binder full of info about the flat, its appliances and the surrounding area. The kitchen has everything you need, even a tea pot, tea bags, sugar and (we had) milk in the fridge, soaps/sponges/clothespins under the sink, next to the washer. I enjoyed the vanity table in the front window to do my hair and makeup. Walter met us at the door and showed us around. Kind, sweet man. And clearly his wife is well paired. The only real negative I can say is that the building is on a busy road and if you are staying in the front bdrm there is a lot of road noise throughout the night. Nothing that Walter can fix. The back bdrm is quiet. But the flat is close to the Acton Main Line tube station and a quick trip to Heathrow. One note: when heading back to Acton Main Line, some trains do not stop there, but bypass it. You will need to get off at the next stop, take the stairs to the opposite platform, & wait for a train that does stop at Acton Main Line, designated on the train schedule sign.
