Horton has a famous tower which was used in the Thomas Hardy film ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’. It is ideally located for enjoying the area from visiting the New Forest National Park, the seaside at Poole and Bournemouth, to enjoying the footpaths, forest walks and country parks which are all nearby. Summary: Really nice cottage, friendly and helpful owners, in an area so handy for the local attractions. Saw lots of ponies and the autumn scenery of the New Forest was beautiful. Weather was also kind to us. Would certainly recommend.
