Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Nice and quiet location, in the 4 days we were there we only saw 2 vehicles traveling the road to the property.
Negative: The 1st night at the property there was an issue with the bed in the master bedroom. Around 2am while we were sleeping the cross support at the head of the bed broke due to no center support leg in the middle of the support beam. Looking under the bed it was revealed that there was no support at the head or middle of the bed. The foot of the bed has the remainder of the support leg but its broken in half vertically. We were going to move to the second bed but inspection of it revealed that 3 center supports were missing from it as well. We opted to temporarily support the master bedroom bed since it was lower to the floor and would take less height to support. I wanted to report this as not to be blamed and so it could be addressed before the next booking as I will be taking the materials I supplied to temporarily support it during our stay. One of the couches in the living area is peeling the vinyl coating and looks unsightly The hot tub is in poor condition and full of mosquito larvae. The swing on the porch is broken and poorly repaired. Its unsafe to use and can cause injury to someone as is . There was cutlery left on the barrel table on the deck. The area around the fire pit is extremely overgrown and not as advertised. The drive up the rock/gravel mountain road should also be advertised as someone who does not have a 4x4, truck or off road capable vehicle may have severe issues reaching the property.
Summary: It was ok, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
