Positive: A true gem of a countryside hotel, a feeling of isolation yet only 15 min drive into Centre. Silva (the Houseman) was exceptional - personable, anticipatory. The house holds endless amounts of antiquities but well presented, does not feel overwhelming. I can see why this place would be popular for both summer and winter events. The perfect place to hold a wedding, family reunion, or best friends escape. I very much enjoyed my moments there, and the little bird that sang to me each night. Best sleeps in a long time
Negative: Only that I wish my schedule alllowed me to stay longer, when the pool would be ready for summertime. The drive into the property may intimate some but it’s fine, just try to do so first time in daylight so you understand the small country lanes
