Positive: Staff were very friendly and helpful. The area is very quiet, easy to walk around, and the local people are very friendly without being the least bit intrusive - especially if you can speak a few words of Indonesian. I really enjoy walking so I walked to several waterfalls but a minimum 8kms return for all but one. For many people, I would recommend hiring a motorbike or arranging for transport from staff.
Summary: Peaceful, lovely place to chill out and go for long walks through quiet villages.
