Positive: This place truly touched our hearts. Abdul Chacha, our host, is an absolute gem — warm, caring, and genuinely hospitable in a way that instantly makes you feel like family. The house is a beautiful blend of traditional old Kashmiri architecture with subtle British-era wooden charm. The intricate woodwork and vintage character give it a timeless, soulful feel. The rooms were spacious and cozy, and since there were no other guests during our stay, we were graciously upgraded to an even bigger room — such a thoughtful gesture. The location is simply magical. Nestled in the lap of nature, surrounded by serene landscapes and breathtaking snow-clad mountain views, it feels like living inside a postcard. Waking up to that scenic beauty was an experience in itself. What made it even more special was Abdul Chacha personally picking us up and dropping us off in his off-roader — such warmth and care in every little detail. The food was absolutely amazing — comforting, delicious, and prepared with so much love that it truly felt like a home away from home. Next time, I’m not just visiting — I’m coming back to stay for an entire month. 🌿✨

Negative: Honestly, there was nothing that felt missing during our stay — everything was beautifully taken care of. If I had to suggest one small addition, it would be having a permanent electric kettle in the room. That way, guests can heat water whenever needed without having to trouble the staff repeatedly. But truly, this is just a tiny suggestion — our experience overall was absolutely wonderful and heartwarming.
