This is the perfect base for exploring South West Wales with sandy beaches and wonderful countryside in abundance. You can even arrange a quiet lunch at the weekend at the local rugby club.
The Millennium Coastal Park footpath runs from Ferryside and visits the rugged coves, stunning beaches and dramatic coastline this area has to offer, and is perfect by foot or cycle and runs for 14 miles passing Kidwelly, Burry Port and onto Llanelli.
