Lovingly restored to a good standard, it offers comfortable and spacious accommodation perfect for a couple or small group to enjoy a getaway in beautiful Wensleydale.
Step through the front door into a large entrance porch, with an old school bench and a wall mounted Ordnance Survey map, great for finding your bearings and plotting walking routes. The cottage is decorated in subtle grey colours, along with a selection of artwork and tasteful soft furnishings. For the more adventurous, try a climb up the hill of Addleborough across the dale. The Yorkshire Dales offer spectacular scenery and an abundance of walks of all ability levels to explore.
The historic town of Richmond, famed for its castle, Georgian theatre, riverside walks and abundance of independent shops and tea rooms, is around a 30-minute drive. The Forbidden Corner in Middleham, a quirky venue with its labyrinth of caves, folly and underground caverns is 13 miles away, and is hugely popular with families.
