A 500 foot crushed granite trail leads down to the Guadalupe river bank. There is a sitting area overlooking the rapids w/ Polywood Adirondack chairs & a propane fire pit. More steps lead down to the river rapids which are about 1-2 foot deep. Perfect for sitting in & relaxing. Tie your tube up to a boulder & relax.

The Guadalupe River is perfect for kayaking. We have partnered w/ Flow Paddle Co in Victoria, Tx. They can provide kayaks and/or transportation. Several options in kayaking are available starting/ending on our river bank. Please contact them directly on Facebook for more details.

We supply bathroom amenities (shampoo, soap, lotion, conditioner), toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, bath towels, coffee bar, and kitchen cookware.

You will need to bring towels for the river and firewood for the wood-burning grill @ the river. We do NOT supply beach towels and do not allow our towels outside for river use.

This is a remote and private retreat on the river in the country which means there are spiders, spiderwebs outside, wildlife, and insects that you will interact with as they are part of the river and forest ecosystem so please prepare your guests.

Hosts are available 24 hours a day to answer questions and assist, but will not bother you during your stay.

HOUSE RULES

1. No unregistered guests are allowed. Additional guests over (6) will be charged at $100 per guest per night.

2. No smoking / vaping anywhere on property, which includes the back decks, backyard, & river area. If any of your guests smoke inside the house you will be charged a $750.00 Ozone cleaning fee.

3. No parties. If you host a party with unregistered guests you will be charged $100 per guest, a $600 additional cleaning fee, and will be evicted immediately.

4. No pets allowed. Sorry. We love our dogs, but still no pets. If you bring a pet you will be charged $500.00 and an additional $250.00 ozone and cleaning fee.

5. Quiet time is between 10:00pm-7:00am.

6. No wet towels or clothing on the furniture.

7. External Doors must remain closed at all times to keep mosquitoes and bugs out of the house.

8. Toilet paper is the ONLY thing to be flushed down the Toilet.

9. No food or waste to be put in the kitchen sink drain. There is NOT a garbage disposal.

10. Do not use the towels to remove makeup. We provide makeup remover wipes for this as your makeup will stain the towels and then we will have to charge you $35.00 per towel.
