The cottage is located only 5 minutes drive from Ocean Beach and Wilson Inlet, and within walking distance of a number of nature trails, including the Denmark - Nornalup Heritage Rail Trail located just around the corner, which will take you to the river mouth and interconnected bushwalks in the locality.
Wisteria Cottage is well situated for a number of interesting daytrips. To the West lies the Valley of the Giants and Tree Top Walk, north is Mt. Barker with its produce and wineries, wildflowers and the Porongorups, east is the Great Southern centre of historic Albany. Eco-tourism includes seasonal wildflowers, whale watching, mushroom hunting and bird watching.
The four bedroom cottage is beautifully renovated, furnished with stylish mid-century pieces, and equipped with quality appliances, crockery and glassware. Tea, coffee and a selection of sauces and condiments are provided in the pantry for your convenience. The kitchen garden also supplies fresh herbs and some fruit and vegetables - and a juicer has been provided so you can prepare fresh juices each morning. The cushioned outdoor furniture on the verandah is the perfect place to sip a glass of wine and relax after a day of sightseeing.
The large master bedroom has its own ensuite and king size bed, and the remaining 3 bedrooms - two with double bed and one with single - are bright, airy and comfortable. There is a large shared bathroom with spacious tub and shower, a front loading washing machine, reverse cycle air conditioning, a diverse music and video library and a TV room separate to the main living room.
A refundable bond of $500 is required for all bookings and must be paid with the balance of the booking 28 days prior to arrival.
