Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great location , clean and tidy space. Minimal extras that give it any wow factor (apart from how close it is to town). Lots of board games provided and pamphlets with suggested activities and events nearby. Host has a guide book for everything you need to know about the cottage and great recs for local area. Lovely outdoor shared space and parking which is great. Beds are super comfy , heating works well and the cottage is super cosy to come home to after a long wet walk.
Negative: We were provided 1 loo roll for a week stay and when asked for more we were told only 1 was provided. Also having to strip the beds and put all the linen in a bag also didn’t make me feel I was on holiday but oh well it was not that much of a chore. The church bells seem to go off every 15 mins at times which is cute at first but gets annoying and then eventually you just get use to it! All the taps leaked from faucet which is a waste of water maybe this should be fixed. Lastly, only applicable if you are a shower person but this property only has a bath which (as a shower person myself) wasn’t ideal for me but I did enjoy soaking in the tub as a treat.
