Positive: As an architect I am very critical about the paces I stay particularly from a design standpoint. It was my first trip to Sicily and I truly stayed at one of the most beautiful villas I have come across in a very long time. This property is a jewel in my opinion. The rooms in the villa are uniquely traditional with exposed stone and wood beams and the washroom would appeal to any north American with a comfortable shower. The room I stayed in was incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, elegant and the lighting inside accentuated all of the beautiful stone detail. The property is an oasis. Sitting in the quiet courtyard under pomegranate trees was a beautiful way to start and end your day. What also makes a place are the hosts. Nina, Christina, Claudio and Paula; you made my trip. You made me feel like I was visiting family. I can’t say enough about how much I loved spending time with you in the evenings and early mornings. I will absolutely return and stay for a longer visit very soon!
Summary: Sicily is spectacular, but my stay at the villa is the reason I will come back.
